Rory Pickles, a 16-year-old racing driver, will be competing in the 2025 BRSCC endurance series in his Motor City Performance prepared Audi TT. He is seeking sponsorship support to accelerate his progress, he can provide advertising opportunities through his website, on the race car and through social media platforms. Sponsors are also invited to attend his race meetings, depending on the level of support sponsors could also enjoy fast lap passenger rides with Rory in his racing TT and even get some driver coaching in his track prepared Clio RS200.
About RORY
Rory's Story
Rory entered motorsport fairly recently with his first racing experience being in karting in late 2022, he showed a natural talent immediately. He competed in 2023 in Junior Rotax at club level gaining useful knowledge and race experience but cars is where his passion lay.
Turning 16 in March 2024 gave Rory the opportunity to try his hand at circuit racing with his college (he is currently studying motorsport at Boston College) in their student prepared City Car Cup, frequently placing within the top 10. At the Silverstone round in September 2024 he was offered a test with Motor City Performance in their new build Audi TTCR. Rory settled in with the car and was immediately on the pace, 2 weeks later he was back at Silverstone competing in the TT in his first BRSCC Clubsport endurance race. He qualified 5th out of 45, as a reserve he had to start from the back of the grid due to a late competitor withdrawal, starting 44th and finishing in 11th.
Our Vision
Rory found his passion and natural ability for circuit racing, in particular endurance racing. His aim is to compete in the full 2025 calendars of both the BRSCC 2hr Supersport and 45min Clubsport events (subject to funding) in the TT along with experienced endurance racing team Motor City Performance. The 2025 season will take him to Silverstone, Donington Park, Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Snetterton and Croft. Many of these events are live streamed on YouTube via the BRSCC platform giving valuable advertising opportunities. Being spread over the country it also gives sponsors a chance to come along and see the team at work at their local track!
